Academics for Land Protection in New England (ALPINE) GIS Data 2015-2018

<para>Academics for Land Protection in New England (ALPINE) is a network of academic institutions committed to increasing the pace of land protection in New England to address the region’s environmental challenges and to support nature and people. Most parcels were submitted to researchers by the institutions themselves and the names of source are listed in the DataSource field. Not all ALPINE colleges are represented in this data if the participating schools did not send the data to ALPINE leadership. Data includes the school name, property name, permanent protection status if noted by provider, who provided the data, the acreage as calculated in GIS, and an abbreviated version of the school’s name.
