- Undoubtably man has always recognized that there is a very close relationship between forest fire hazard and weather conditions. The better understanding of this relationship and its practical application in the field of forest fire prevention and suppression is, however, a very recent development.
- This was an address delivered before the managers of the Quebec Forest Industries Association, Ltd. at Montreal, Canada, January 25, 1928.
