- Abstract:
- This plantation was established in 1915 with 1-2 stock on an old mowing. By 1930 dead length was developing so rapidly that thinning was necessary. Three plots were laid out. One was left as a control; one was given a light thinning and one a medium thinning. In 1932 a heavy thinning plot was laid out and treated. In 1936 the three treated plots were thinned more heavily than in 1930.
- Plots were destroyed by 1938 hurricane.
