- Abstract:
- Hugh Raup [then Assistant Professor of Plant Ecology at Harvard] wrote a report on the future policy of the Harvard Forest for Ernest Stilllman.
- He wrote that an outline of objectives for the Harvard Forest might be suggested in three parts. The first of these would be continued research in the economic development of northeastern forests; the second, a continuation of the graduate school of forestry with some modifications, and the third, an increasingly close coordination with the Division of Biology at Cambridge, and with the Arnold Arboretum. He went on to suggest ways to attain these objectives.
