  • Extensive nursery tests and limited field trials of a large number of collections of eastern white pine (Pinus strobus L.) seed at the Harvard Forest in Petersham, Massachusetts, provide information on the early development ofthis species as related to locality of seed collection, the tree from which the collection was made, and seed weight.
