- The purpose of the experiment: 1. To determine the feasibility of disposing of spruce slash by hogging as compared to piling and burning.
- 2. To see if recovery of hogged slash as fuel is practicable.
- 3. To see if recovery of small pole hardwoods in weeding can be accomplished in the form of hogged fuel.
