- The immediate and surrounding areas were thoroughly examined for all evidence that might be pieced together to form the historical background of the Schwarz Tract. Local information was exhausted first, then literature investigated, and local residents queried. In this manner, the enigmas of the tract's history were solved, and finally a rather clear concise pattern of events was formed.
