- Abstract:
- Between 1939 and 1942 a large group of scientists worked on problems which were defined when the Boylston Street Fishweir was rediscovered. This work focused attention upon the relationship between the location of evidences of human occupation and the position of sea level. A group then turned our attention to Grassy Island, an Indian site, which promised to provide additional data pertinent to the whole problem.
