- Abstract:
- The changing character of our forests are unmistakable to all who have penetrated its depths. Past cutting practices and the havoc wrought by fire, disease and insects have radically altered the diameter composition, and in some areas the species composition of the sand. It is therefore, time for us to protect our forests from all destructive agents, care for them, and accept the regrowth supplied by nature.
