  • The purpose of this work has been to investigate sex-associated characters in dioecious species. This has been done in detail with two - Fraxinus americana (white ash) and Juniperus communis var. depressa Pursh (juniper), and in somewhat less detail with a third - Populus tremuloides (aspen).
