Abstract:
- Using the findings and basic assumptions of Stephen H. Jenkins study (1974 Harvard University thesis) as a starting point, we conducted a preliminary study upon the beaver population of Harvard Pond. Our purpose was first: to map out the beaver activity in the area; second: to record recent beaver activity in the last year in relation to size and site of food selection, and third: to investigate thoroughly certain sectors of activity.
