  • The objective of this paper was to look at Cathedral Pines, a Pinus strobus/Tsuga canadensis stand in Cornwall, Connecticut to try and determine some broad characteristics about the history of the stand. This was accomplished by aging trees, and checking the soil for traces of charcoal.
