- Abstract:
- The influence of fire on tree growth patterns was examined by measuring paper birch, Betula papyrifera, from burned and unburned stands.
- One site (burned plot) had been burned during a forest fire in May 1957. The other site (unburned site) was approximately 800m from the burned plot, and had not been burned.
