- Abstract:
- My project was designed to look at the effects tree conservation has on lower order plants, such as lichens and mosses, which are dependent on tree trunks or the tree canopy for life. I wanted to see if harvesting trees, an activity that maintains a forest and allows for usable lumber, ignores the balance of life of lichens and mosses.
