- The purpose of this project was to research Cornus alternifolia -- a dogwood commonly known as the green-osier, the pagoda, the blue or the alternate-leaved dogwood. It was attemped to determine the normal growth rate of the dogwood, as well as how the structure of the tree relates to its age.
