- Three major activities: 1. continued measurement of CO2 flux, soil moisture, and soil solution chemistry, plus automated monitoring of soil temperature, 2. sampling of the plots in the fall 1994 and characterization of potentially mineralizable carbon and nitrogen, and 3. application of a IRGA-based technique to improve field measurement of soil respiration.
