Abstract:
- The overall objective of this study is to study the role of aquatic bryophytes in central Massachusetts streams. This will include study of the spatial distribution of bryophytes, their contribution to ecosystem oxygen metabolism, and their potential influence on the distribution of benthic macroinvertebrate consumers.
