- Abstract:
- Proposal to inventory and document the species diversity of ants living in bogs of central and northern Vermont. Changes in ant faunas accurately reflect land use and habitat restoration efforts, and ant assemblage structure can reveal disturbance regimes operating at different taxonomic and spatial scales.
- This proposal will be integrated with a proposed Natural Heritage study of bogs in Massachusetts that will use identical sampling methodology.
