- Abstract:
- The largest lichen area of Pseudoparmelia caperata cannot accurately determine the unknown age of a single Acer rubrum specimen, as a result of individual variation. However, a group of possibly even-aged trees can be assigned a general age range using average largest lichen area, given the relative bark roughness is known.
