- Abstract:
- This study will compare habitat and biota of streams draining Massachusetts' old-growth forests with waters in younger forests. The results will contribute to informed management, help the state's "Green Certification" efforts, and add to public understanding and appreciation of how old-growth forests contribute to water quality and biodiversity.
