- Abstract:
- Over the past seven years the Wildlands and Woodlands (W&W) effort has developed from a singular vision for the state of Massachusetts to a regional effort in policy, science and active land protection that is advancing the pace of conservation across New England and capturing broader interest nationally. Currently, this effort is being advanced by the Wildlands and Woodlands initiative in which Highstead and the Harvard Forest are lead institutions in collaboration with other groups, agencies and individuals
