  • Goals are to estimate the relative influence of climate change, rural development, and timber harvest on forest composition and above ground forest carbon storage in New Hampshire and Vermont over the next fifty years. And to develop a range of plausible scenarios describing future forest landscape change in New Hampshire and Vermont and to use landscape simulation models to quantify the potential range of future forest composition and above ground carbon stores.
