Abstract:
- Two workshops on the effects of introduced insect pests and tree pathogens of Northeastern forest, prepared a synthesis publication accompanied by an extensive education and outreach effort aimed at the public, media, and government. The workshops would examine the ecological and economic impacts of these pests and pathogens, and evaluate potential policy and management solutions aimed at limiting damage by established pests and pathogens and minimizing future introductions.
