- The impacts of coal plants are pervasive, but largely invisible to the public. A full accounting and appreciation for coal's impact has been hampered by the absence of a comprehensive, cross-disciplinary human and environmental health assessment. By engaging independent scientists, we will provide rigorous analysis on the benefits of GHG emissions reductions from the U.S. Coal fleet and to bring credible science messengers characterizing the impacts of coal combustion.
