- The Harvard Forest (HF) Summer Research Program in Ecology is a thriving and well-coordinated program that is central to our educational and research mission. All students are mentored by faculty and senior scientists who together conduct ecological research at the Harvard Forest. Students often develop their summer research into undergraduate theses, present their results at professional meetings, and publish them in peer-reviewed journals.
