- Keywords: phenology, climate, carbon
- Abstract:
- First assess phenological data, including peak flowering dates, flowering duration, and fruiting across ~140,000 specimens representing the flora of the Northeast. Second determine the phylogenetic structure of phenological responses using lare-scale phylogenomic approaches. Third Predict how plant communities will change their spatial, temporal and phylogenetic composition in the near future, and examine the effects on ecosystem processes.
