- Goals for 2019-2020:
- -Schoolyard teacher presentations/outreach: coordinating and sponsoring Schoolyard teacher presentations at the MA Assoc. of Science Teachers conference and the CT Science Teacher Association conference.
- -Our changing forests project coach in MA and CT: Rehire F. Jevon to support teachers in setting up study plots at their schools.
- -Develop another series of lesson plans/activities related to Land Use Change: Build on land use change curriculum development having teachers create another level of learning activities that allow students to go further into understanding landscape dynamics in their towns and regions.
- -Pheno-Cam NSF Funding: We are pleased to have been included on another NSF proposal that involves HF K-12 outreach. Some form of teacher professional development related to phenology/Pheno cams...
- -Continued Outreach: Manintain CBT funding levels into the coming fiscal year, we look to continue our outreach both by training up to 20 new teachers and retaining experienced teachers in order to best provide authentic science learning opportunities for more students and stronger peer networks for participating teachers.
