- Keywords: land use, management
- Abstract:
- The overarching question driving this research need is: What are plausible and useful storyline scenarios influencing LULC transitions and land management practices in US watersheds feeding the upper Great Lakes? To address this question, recent trends in LULC need to be quantified, implemented within a landscape model as a baseline for comparison with alternative future scenarios, whereby future LULC scenarios can then be formulated within the same landscape model environment for objective comparison of alternative futures for the region.
