- Letters from A.C. Cline are unsigned carbon copies of typewritten letters
- Worthley was one of the first graduates of the Harvard Forestry School in 1905, before the Harvard Forest in Petersham was established. In his response to Cline’s 1934 letter to alumni he recalls that he and fellow student Benton McKaye did their field work in nearby woodlots and he went to Corbin Park [NH] to write his thesis

- Worthley’s response to Cline’s memorandum for the Visiting Committee with comments about the aftermath of the 1938 hurricane and forestry education
