- ["Wrinkle" refers to Henry (Harry) James; Mack refers to Dallas McGrew; Mrs. Agazzis's birthday concert, referenced in the letter, was given by the Boston Symphony Orchestra on December 5 in honor of Elizabeth Agazzi's eightieth birthday. She was the mother-in-law of Major (Henry L.) Higginson, founder and supporter of the Orchestra.]
