- Abstract:
- S-4581-C. White pine reproduction following partial opening of stand. Similar to the first operation in a shleter-wood cutting. The larger white pines are 55 years old and are part of a plot which was thinned in 1920 to determine the effect of the thinning upon the larger trees. At the time of thinning the growth was at the rate of 1100 board feet per acre per year.
