- Robert M. Borg was the supervisor of Wildlife Management for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in the 1930s.
- Beartown State Forest photos include winter shelter, nesting cover, deer bed under pine, grouse rearing area, hemlock swamp in need of releasing, highbush cranberry with fruit, grouse nest, wild turkeys, wild black duck’s nest, wild life refuge grid lines, wild woods-cat (wild house cat), turkey nest, pheasant rearing, turkey rearing, pheasant pen.
