- Abstract:
- The aerial photographs in this folder were acquired from the Metropolitan District Commission (MDC) Quabbin Reservoir Visitor's Center in Belchertown.
- The original photographs were taken from a biplane in 1930, two years after the Quabbin project was approved. The towns were abandoned and destroyed by 1939. The original negatives are in the Massachusetts Archives (in poor condition; arrangements can be made through the Visitor's Center for quality copies).
- Framed copies of the Enfield and North Dana maps hang in the Harvard Forest Archives and there is a 35mm slide of the Enfield map in the Aerial Photographs Additional Information file.
