Abstract:
- Land Use Map of Petersham Showing Wooded and Open Area
- Copied from 1:24000 USGS maps 1954 edition showing forest cover in green. This was brought up to date by driving the roads on Oct 8-9, 1965 (W. Lyford).
- Black areas are non-forest (open always included with forest) This map about 95% right with bias toward showing more open areas than actually existed. If old field showed young trees the area was classed as forest.
